About

Karolina Baldyga is an artist whose work is a testament to resilience, love, and the transformative power of creativity. As a single mother, an emigrant and a breast cancer survivor, she found solace and strength in art, using it as both a therapeutic outlet and a platform to share her story.
With over 15 years of experience as a community artist, Karolina has dedicated much of her life to using creativity as a means to connect, empower, and uplift others.
Her creative journey is rooted in the philosophy of self-love and healing, encapsulated by her recurring theme of #LoveYourselfFirst. This concept, inspired by her personal experiences, permeates her art through the symbolic use of heart shapes discovered in nature and everyday objects.
Karolina’s art studio, located in Moira, serves as both her creative sanctuary and a space where her mission comes to life. Her ambitious and heartfelt goal is to create 1,000 small hearts left anonymously for people to discover, 1,000 hearts on paper, and 1,000 hearts on canvas. Each piece represents a fragment of her journey and an invitation for others to embrace self-love, find joy in small moments, and connect with their inner strength.
Her work resonates with people across all walks of life, offering a message of hope, resilience, and the enduring power of love. Through her art, Karolina transforms personal trials into universal symbols of healing, encouraging others to see beauty in life’s imperfections and to love themselves first.
